ASUS TUF x570 Pro chipset offers high RPM fans.
Hello, your new Asus TUF x570 setup is making quite a noise even when idle. I suspect the source is the chipset fan. After checking the BIOS settings, I didn’t find an option to adjust its speed. Since you’re using the latest ASUS BIOS, it might not support direct fan control. Regarding the temperature reading of 60°C at idle, that’s quite high—make sure your case ventilation is adequate and consider cleaning dust from fans and heat sinks.
I'm facing the same problem... I've been using the fan control tool to set a custom curve, but running it slower increases idle temperature. This raises questions about the chipset's safe operating range.
