ASUS TUF Gaming X670E Plus experiences Wi-Fi issues following BIOS update. Memory-related problems reported.
I own the mentioned motherboard featuring a Ryzen 9 7950X and 32GB of Kingston HyperX Fury RAM KF560C36BBEAK2-32 (SK Hynix M die). I purchased this memory kit since it was the most affordable M die option with 6000 MT/s EXPO support. It functioned properly when EXPO was enabled at its most aggressive setting, but once I upgraded my BIOS to version 1813, issues arose. I encountered persistent blue screens and, after troubleshooting, discovered that both EXPO and memory errors appeared in MemTest86. I attempted testing with a single RAM stick, and both DIMMs performed correctly even with EXPO active. Previously, I ran BIOS 1636 and it worked smoothly with DDR5-6000. Recently, I reverted to BIOS 1813 using a flashback tool, but it still produced errors. Could anyone suggest a solution besides overclocking the RAM? I’m open to any advice from fellow Asus representatives regarding fixes for BIOS 1813, especially since it caused multiple BSODs and Windows installation corruption within two hours. Thanks for your attention! Good luck with EXPO, Zsoombee
