I bought this motherboard a while back and the prior owner either kept or discarded the antenna. It worked fine then because I used a hardwire setup, but now I own some Bluetooth headphones that I want to connect to my computer. From some research, it looks like the Bluetooth relies on the Wi-Fi adapter’s antenna. I reached out to Asus asking about replacing the antenna, but I’ve gotten mixed results when trying to source something for motherboards. I’m seeking guidance on either getting a replacement from them or purchasing a different antenna so I can use these headphones. Thanks ahead!

I believe Bluetooth operates via bluetoot rather than relying on Wi-Fi antennas.

Attempt BT without the antennae initially, since they don’t add much value and you can easily swap in generic ones that match the standard design.

Attempted to connect the headphones at roughly two feet away from the computer, but pairing failed. It seems the weak signal might be the issue. I don’t recognize the standard antenna design and haven’t bought a Wi-Fi antenna before, so I’m unsure what specs to look for. I need to make sure it fits properly and strengthens the Bluetooth connection. Probably overcomplicating it, but I don’t want to buy something that doesn’t work and end up having to return it.
