Someone suggested Asus outperforms MSI in cooling, but the tier rankings show MSI Mortar Max ranks higher than Asus TUF Pro. The list emphasizes power supply aspects over cooling performance. Regarding durability, cooling efficiency, and heat output, it seems the board handles heat well but may vary based on specific components and usage.

The Mortar MAX offers superior value. It features improved VRM, a larger VRM heatsink, comes with a Ryzen 3000 ready-to-use, and includes a bigger BIOS ROM for enhanced future compatibility with next-gen CPUs.

Improved VRM design, enhanced heatsink, Ryzen3000 comes fully assembled, and larger BIOS ROM for improved future compatibility with upcoming CPU models. Wouldn't these be compelling reasons to purchase it? : ) Another point: better BIOS, simpler navigation, more user-friendly. No need to buy the TUF-board.

For a B450 range mATX, Mortar Max stands out as the top choice, featuring two m.2 ports. When opting for ATX, consider Gaming Plus Max or Tomahawk Max.

Estimate the overclocking range for a 3600x CPU on Mortar Max motherboard. Typically, this setup allows significant boosts, but exact limits depend on the board and BIOS support. For maximum performance, ensure you use at least 8GB of RAM, preferably more, to fully leverage the memory benefits.
