Hello, The motherboard supports CPUs from the 5000 series. This information comes directly from the seller or Asus, who confirm compatibility across all generations. My Ryzen 1600AF is compatible since the 0309 BIOS, which is the earliest version listed. I didn’t see any details about dropping support for older CPUs when upgrading to the 5000 series, so I’ll check that manually.

I corrected the headline. It should be Asus Tuf B450M gaming plus II and I have already verified the BIOS and CPU support page. However, some forums mention dropping support for older CPUs during upgrades. The box lists only version 5000 ready, no mention of support for older CPUs. Do you have any boards with expiration dates that still support older CPUs and 5000 ready B450 models? Thank you for your help.
