I'm evaluating this mb for pairing with a ryzen 1600. I'm aiming for close to 4.0ghz silicon, and it seems like a solid board. Would you think it could last 2-3 years? Most reviews on other b boards, especially from here and nexus, mention low VRMs. Thanks.

For dual GPU setup, I would only consider it.

It will remain that time one of the superior B350 boards.

Thanks for the response. I checked the x370 boards and others mentioned that I wouldn't need one. Choosing the x route might mean getting the gaming 5 from GYABYTE.

This video covers the B350, but its suitability really depends on your motherboard requirements. I wouldn't choose the X370 if your CPU is an R5 or lower.

I think I'll just grab the crosshair hero and stop trying so hard. I'm planning to switch to an R7 and invest my two 970's later. Thanks again!

The video provided useful information and made me feel confident about the strix. It's also great that it's available for just $100 right now. The pro carbon received positive feedback, though I think my MSI is falling behind in updates compared to others. Not sure what to do.
