Hello, just installed an Asus RTX 3060 Tuf Gaming OC with 12GB RAM.
I’m using MSI Afterburner unless another solution seems more suitable for this card.
Is it preferable to increase the clock speed first and then determine a stability threshold, or should I start with both memory and clock at baseline before adjusting gradually?
Beyond crashes or freezes, are there other signs or effects that suggest my clock speed or memory rate might be too high? How can I tell the difference between the two?
Currently, I’ve set the clock to +125 and the memory to +800, and everything has worked fine.

To extract more performance from it, you'll need to adjust a few settings.
1 increase the power limit to maximum.
2 unlock the temperature and power limits. Click the small chain symbol to apply it.
3 configure a more aggressive fan profile. My current setting is 45c=45%-55c=55%-65c=65%-75c=75%, but you should test what suits your card and noise level.
4 boost case air intake. Adjust the fan curve for front intake fans to be more aggressive.
Nvidia cards can take over your clock speeds if voltage, temperature, or usage state becomes too high.
For optimal performance, keep the card cooler—it will lower voltage and raise sustained clocks under load, while maintaining a higher boost within limits.

It seems I’m holding a strong position at +206 on the clock and +824 in memory. When I increase the memory beyond that point, I occasionally encounter game artifacts around 850+, though these don’t appear in the bench stress tests which all passed without issues. Raising the clock higher still allowed me to complete the bench stress tests for extended periods even at +220, except during the Kombustor burn test, which would fail quickly. Other tests I ran included fur mark, heaven, valley, super position, and fire strike.
