asus rog zenith ii extreme alpha post error m.2_3
I've just received a brand new Asus ROG Zenith II Extreme Alpha equipped with a 3990X CPU. I'm using three Seagate FireCuda 520 SSD 2TB M.2 drives, all connected to the front of the board via PCI-E connectors and one at the back of the motherboard. When I first booted up, I encountered a POST error specifically for the drive at the back. The OLED screen simply showed a POST error message. After taking it apart to access the motherboard, I placed the drive in an external NVMe enclosure where it functioned correctly. I suspect my installation might have been careless, and upon reassembly, the issue persisted. I updated the BIOS but didn't see any improvement. I'm worried about having to repeat this process, so anyone have insights into what could be causing this problem?
The board should have a physical switch for M.2_3. Verify its placement to ensure it's correctly positioned.
