***Update***
Decision reached: I chose the ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme. Updated the BIOS to version 2305 to support the i9 13900K. That update took longer than expected—still impressive! Thanks.

The board is chosen for specific needs, but many alternatives can handle a 13900k.

Looking for a solid board with 10GbE capacity. The top options were likely Gigabyte or MSI, but I went with the Asus ROG Z790 Maximus Extreme since it’s the only choice that fits right now.

Another update here—just sharing what happened. After installing the new ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme board for my i9 13900K, I started assembling the system. Once finished, the setup only accepted one stick of RAM, not two as expected. I tried again, but it was slower than intended. I removed the components and brought everything back to the place where the technician had checked it. He fixed three bent pins on the motherboard, which resolved the issue. I then reassembled the system and updated the BIOS myself. My advice? (no fault) be mindful of who works with your motherboard and RAM.

Someone asked why I needed/wanted a motherboard with 10GBe. This is why.
