I believe the issue lies with the motherboard drivers affecting my internet performance. It reports 250 Mbps initially but then fluctuates to just 5 Mbps unexpectedly. After attempting driver installation, it indicates unsupported Windows 10 version, which is puzzling since I'm using the 64-bit edition of Windows 10.
The Picture Ethernet port is set up and functioning properly. Have you saved the newest update from the ASUS site? Make sure to remove the current update and replace it with the latest one. Don’t take out the already-installed version until you get the newest release from ASUS.
Which one is correct depends on your device model. Check your network adapter label or manufacturer documentation to confirm.
It appears the source is the internal report. They mention Ethernet as the main option, while Realtek refers to wireless capabilities. It seems a wired setup was considered, possibly after some testing. Updated October 10, 2018 by jimkirk363
The same driver appeared again, but I'm still losing connection from games after about 5 minutes once the speed reached over 150 Mbps and then dropped back to around 5 Mbps.
On wifi i receive 300 Ethernet signals with a range of 140 meters.
I played a game for an hour and found that the Wi-Fi isn't cutting off my internet, only causing lag spikes. Switching to Ethernet resolved the issue, though I had to disconnect every few minutes.
