Hello. You're dealing with an unusual setup. The VGA LED remains active and won't power down, even after several attempts to boot from Linux via USB using the integrated graphics. Your system shows CPU and RAM indicators but not proper startup. It seems the motherboard might be functioning in a way that keeps the VGA output active. Have you tried reseating the CPU or checking for any loose connections? Also, ensure your BIOS is updated and that the GPU drivers are correctly installed. If nothing changes, it could indicate a hardware issue with the motherboard or power delivery. Let me know what you find next.

How extended your wait will be? Am5/ddr5 requires a considerable duration to configure memory timings.

About ten minutes seems reasonable, though it’s unclear if the system should remain in DRAM mode during RAM training. VGA isn’t the issue here. This is my first AM5 project, so I’m still learning about all the nuances. I miss the post code display from my previous motherboard... These indicators don’t give any useful information.
