Asus ROG RYUJIN II 360 not found by Armory Crate
Hi, Your Asus Rog Ryujin II 360 is functioning well but isn’t showing up in the Armory Crate device list. I’ve tested various USB ports and uninstalled the Armory Cate multiple times without success. Someone else has faced this problem and found a solution—please share if you know what it was. Thanks, Allen.
I'm facing the same problem again. It's a long story, so hold on. I've got a new machine with a 12900k processor, a Strix Z690-f motherboard, 32 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM, Corsair Vengeance 3080, and the Ryujin 2 cooler. The software loads without issues, and all three ASUS devices are detected. Fans are working properly through the included hub. Lighting settings can be adjusted easily on both the motherboard and video card. I've fully updated the system and Windows, as it was a brand new setup overnight. The issue is clear: the Ryujin tab displays details for the graphics card and board but doesn't load the device correctly. It hangs endlessly on a loading screen before crashing with what looks like a JavaScript error. I have a screenshot of the error message, which includes a long string of code (sorry, I'm not a coder and don't want it shared for personal reasons). It's like the system says, "An error occurred here—should I keep running the script?" I've uninstalled the program, removed the lighting options folder in Program Files, and deleted all ASUS-related apps except the official one. Still, loading the Ryujin keeps failing no matter how many times I try.
In Armoury Crate there are two tabs—Device and Aura Sync RGB. The cooler appears in the latter, but not always consistently. I noticed your screenshots. Do you have Aura Creator installed? It should display the cooler if it's present. Uninstalling Armoury Crate usually requires a separate cleanup tool. Overall, Armoury Crate seems unreliable—many updates fail and devices stop working. I can't access device settings without updating them, and Asus clearly isn’t proud of this software. If the cooler functions, I’ll wait to see results; otherwise, contacting support might help but isn’t guaranteed.
Hey everyone, just wanted to share the latest on my side. I tried using the uninstall tool to completely remove the aura crate and reinstall it, but the problem kept coming back. Staying calm and level-headed, I went through a full system format and reinstalled Windows 11 and AC. Now everything seems fine—mostly. I’m really enjoying the cooler now. I’ve seen some posts about issues with AC and Ryujin 2, suggesting leftover software bits stuck in registry keys. Not sure if this helps anyone, but thanks for your earlier comments on my issue. Appreciate the effort!
Same problem again—Armoury Crate isn’t allowing me to reach settings on my Asus motherboard or Ryujin II.
