Hello there, fellow enthusiasts! I recently acquired a Z790 HERO and am struggling to activate XMP 1 for my Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Dual Channel setup (CMK32GX5M2B6000C30). The voltage range of 30-36-36-76V didn’t help, and even adjusting the voltage to 1,430 didn’t resolve the issue. I’m seeing occasional crashes at 5200MHz but can’t boot past the BIOS. The PMIC voltages also aren’t working for a proper start-up. Could someone share tips or let me know if manual overclocking is an option? Thanks for your guidance!

Hey there! Are those RAM slots A2 and B2 available? They’re two slots away from the CPU socket, right next to the second and fourth positions.

It functioned with A2 B2 slots because they support higher frequencies. The issue with A1 B1 was likely due to insufficient bandwidth or compatibility limitations. Thanks for the assistance—now it operates at 6GHz.

Memory layout usually causes the issue. When these aren't placed in the designated channels initially, it might indicate signal interference. That's why makers suggest prioritizing the first two channels before proceeding with the rest.

Thanks a lot! Your setup with the 2x32GB RAM and 6400 MHz processor worked well after testing. Running a memory test confirmed everything was fine.
