Hello, I'm looking to buy a new motherboard for an I7 9700k. Could you help me understand the differences between the boards you mentioned? If you know anything about either, please share the ROG Maximus Hero link and the ROG Maximus Code.

You probably don’t require the pricier option if you’re not sure about the distinctions. It’s pointless to spend extra on features you don’t understand.

The program provides additional USB connections through its I/O settings. While the hero may have fewer USB ports, it includes a DP and PS2 port that isn't present in the code. These ports also differ in appearance.

Skip the ASUS motherboard, avoid VRMs, and stick to decent parts. Go with an MSI or Gigabyte setup instead of Asus, especially for lower to mid-range builds.
