I've got your ASUS ROG G15 setup with 16GB DDR4. It seems 8GB is already built into the motherboard, so adding another 16GB would require replacing the existing stick. This could affect dual-channel performance and might cause a bottleneck if speeds aren't matched. Just make sure you're using compatible drives and drivers.

The term “bottleneck” usually doesn’t apply here. It often means one component slows everything down. Sometimes people use “turbo” instead, which suggests making something faster. A system with a 24GB processor might struggle if it can’t fully utilize the GPU, leading to noticeable delays. This could happen if the workload is too large for a 16GB setup but manageable on a 24GB one. The exact outcome depends on what tasks are running and how they’re balanced.
