Hello everyone, have you encountered any problems with the 192GB RAM on this motherboard or with the Corsair Vengeance RBG Black 192GB 5200MHz DDR5? It looks like blue screen errors are happening. I turned on XMP and used Intel Extreme Tuning Utility for overclocking without custom settings. The RAM seems to crash programs, crash games, and cause memory issues. I’ve confirmed it’s a single kit for the 192GB and haven’t mixed any other kits. All components are less than a couple of months old. Quad rank memory from Intel and AMD has proven to be quite challenging to stabilize. It poses significant difficulties for the CPU memory controller, often limiting performance to around 4000 to 5200 MT/s based on your setup. It seems you're facing a tough situation. Turning off XMP might help eliminate those random blue screens. If they persist at the default 3600 JEDEC speed, it likely indicates an issue with the memory, CPU, motherboard, or BIOS version.
Still experiencing BSODs occasionally while XMP is disabled, running at the default 4200MHz. The CPU has already been replaced, so that’s unlikely. This RAM package was brand new a couple of weeks ago. To check if the issue might be the motherboard, consider updating it and see if the problem persists. It’s frustrating when the system only works for a short time before crashing. I’m thinking about returning the RAM and using fewer slots, but I’d like to confirm the motherboard first before making changes just in case it continues.
Hi JGM, I tried the same setup with two Dark Hero boards in November 2023. No over-clocking was done, and the latest BIOS was installed. In November 2023, I saw no one had tested the 14900K with 192GB using the Dark Hero. I thought Asus would soon release a new version, possibly Rev 2.0 before the setup worked.
