I’m facing a new issue now that everything was resolved by updating my CPU. My current setup includes an i9 9940x, ASUS Rampage VI Encore, 32 GB Corsair RAM, EVGA RTX2070 XC Ultra, Corsair AX1200, and Corsair 1000D. The problem is that the system runs fine but feels sluggish, especially when opening new windows or programs. I haven’t reinstalled Windows and have checked drivers via Device Manager and CCleaner. I’ve tried disconnecting all HDDs, reinstalling drivers, updating BIOS, clearing everything, and even ran CrystalDiskInfo, which showed no issues. However, after installing everything, the C drive was at 100% and then performance dropped sharply. Now it’s at 0%, and opening files takes over five seconds. I’m concerned about potential damage from the previous CPU and am also struggling with ASUS drivers—especially the Aura and AI Suite 3, which are not working. The RAM cache 3 was uninstalled as well. I’m hoping for some configuration tweaks in Windows to fix things, but I’m unsure how to adjust settings like the motherboard screen, ASUS node, or lighting effects. Please help me resolve this.

Are you referring to taking it out and putting it back together again? I've tried that a few times without success. I'm growing concerned because it seems like the CPU might be fine, but I don't think so since I can return it easily, while the motherboard isn't.

Here are some alternatives to consider:
- Borrow a friend's reliable CPU to check the memory capacity. Even though it seems simple, it can be tricky since you need someone who allows access and has matching connectors.
- Reset the CMOS settings. It might provide useful information.
- Experiment with adjusting the pressure on your cooling system. The first option will give you the most insight.

This was precisely what I expected; nothing functioned properly and I have already asked for a refund on my CPU. I’ve now bought a replacement, which costs 30€ more, but I don’t see any other options. We’ll find out, but I truly hope it’s resolved by Monday simply by switching to the new CPU.

If a recognized working CPU isn't found, it could indicate a socket problem.

Hey! Common solutions include connecting all CPU EPS connectors, ensuring the LN2 switch is off, verifying the socket for bent pins, confirming memory settings, and if using four sticks, removing two to fit properly in the right slots.

What concerns me is this. I haven’t verified the LN2. It stops working even without memory or 4. It clearly states there’s no CPU. I’ve inspected the socket and it looks okay.

And what about the idea of connecting every CPU EPS connector? Some boards require all of them to be plugged in before posting. Look into the LN2 switch and let me know.

He revisado todo hoy y no encontré nada. Tendré otro procesador que ordenaré mañana para verificarlo. Veremos qué sucede.
