You’ve received an RMA replacement without the included I/O shield, and the company has repeatedly informed you they’re out of stock. You’re being asked to purchase a third-party shield yourself. Consider whether this cost is justified given the situation.

The device functions even without it, yet it safeguards against dust and maintains its structure.

It seems there are frequent issues with ASUS handling returns and replacements.

It offers little benefit. I’d skip it and ask them to pay for the third-party protection.

My vehicle launches without wheels... But I bought those wheels. It makes sense to be frustrated, especially when a company seems to have significantly more resources than me. They should handle this responsibly.

Are you seeking reimbursements? The issue isn't a complete fix because it didn't return fully.

I've faced many issues with ASUS RMA support. A faulty GPU arrived, and they replaced it with another defective one until the third unit functioned properly. Around two months later, plus $50 shipping, it added up. Plus the mishandling of the TUF 5700 XT... I'm sticking with Gigabyte now.

You're certain it wasn't the same GPU they gave you before? I need to snap some photos of those white stickers and document what I see. I've heard similar tales over the years, right?

The model number varied; it wasn't etched like a cat.
