I'm trying to assemble a PC using ECC RAM. I have an ASUS Pro WS X570-ACE board and a Ryzen 5 3600X chipset. The first RAM I installed didn't function—its DRAM LED showed yellow and nothing happened. Now I have ECC-compatible RAM (HMA82GR7AFR4N-VK) that works on another system, but the motherboard still reports issues. The BIOS is set to auto ECC, and the system boots normally elsewhere. Any suggestions? Thanks, spitzbuaamy

Enable ECC protection, turn off XMP, and test with a single RAM stick first.

Did you manage to fix the issue? You're also facing the same problem with your 3900X and QVL ECC RAM on your ASUS Pro WS X570-ACE board.

For those facing challenges, I experienced the same issue. I also had the same Mobo but couldn't get 128GB ECC RAM to function... UNTIL I slightly increased the RAM voltage from "Auto 1.2V" to "1.25V". After setting it to 1.25V with 64GB and configuring 2133Mhz, then added the other sticks, I gradually raised the RAM speed up to 2866Mhz. Now it works perfectly! Hope this helps you try it too.
