In short, my board failed during a BIOS update. I managed to restore it with a BIOS programmer, but some corruption remains and my network card isn’t being recognized. It appears to be a BIOS problem, not hardware damage. I’ve tried using other BIOS files, but they don’t work. I’m looking for a backup from the ASUS Prime Z490-A board if anyone can help. I’d appreciate guidance through the process, and I’m trying to avoid using ASUS for now because I’m not in the USA and shipping is complicated right now due to COVID.
The bios on their website aren't accessible because they're protected by copyright or licensing restrictions.
