Looking at similar discussions, I found this thread. I’m upgrading from a 2700X to the same 5800X with an X570 Prime Pro board for a white-black theme. I plan to use 5000D Airflow white fans, the X570 Prime, a white Corsair PSU cable kit, and a Noctua NH-D15 chromax with white NA-HC4 cover. Regarding BIOS updates, I wonder if I can upgrade the 2700X to the latest version before swapping CPUs or need a 3000-series board instead.
