Hey, just checked the specs of my ASUS Prime x570 and saw it should handle a 5950x. I’m curious if it’s suitable for me. Any advice from others? Thanks!

Sure thing, just ensure the BIOS is up to date.

The board is capable of running the 5950X smoothly, but ensure the BIOS is current and supports Zen 3 CPUs. For older CPUs not compatible, update the BIOS to version 3001 or higher. If unavailable, contact a local store to install an updated BIOS, as the board doesn’t allow BIOS flashback updates without a supported CPU.

Great! Your 3900XT is ready for an update—just make sure to install the latest BIOS when you get home. For PBO tutorials, look for guides on advanced tuning and performance optimization.
