You're planning to upgrade your system as you've already got a Ryzen 5 2600 and an RTX 3060 Ti with 16GB RAM. It makes sense to keep an eye on future upgrades since your current setup is solid but may need a CPU boost later.

if you are willing to wait for the gpu than I recommend neither I recommend getting a good b550 to save some bucks or x570 if you don't care about saving that and than getting the ryzen 5 5600x

The model only works with 3rd generation and newer systems. You mentioned you have a second generation CPU.
