Hello! I set up a workstation with those specifications: Asus Prime B550 plus Ryzen 9 5900x, 32GB RAM, PNY Quadro A4000. The motherboard keeps showing the GPU fail LED when I try to boot with a DisplayPort cable. I tested different cables but it didn’t help. It works with HDMI, though, and the Quadro only has four DP ports. I installed Windows using an older R9 390 with an HDMI cable so everything else functions fine. When I put the Quadro into my gaming rig, it works perfectly. What might be causing this issue?

There seems to be an issue with your cables. Both your home and office computers emit an alert sound when you power them on without connecting a monitor.

It appears you're checking the type of monitor you have. Also, are you seeing no display at all? The white LED light might indicate a GPU problem, but it could also mean the monitor isn't being detected. At this stage, I need to figure out if the issue lies with the monitor, the GPU, or the motherboard. You should try another monitor using the same cable to see if the problem persists. If that works, the issue is likely with the monitor. Then test a different GPU, even one that's not functioning properly. If it resolves, check all DP ports on the new GPU to identify any faulty connections. Test multiple DP ports on the existing monitor if possible. From these tests, you should be able to pinpoint whether the problem is with the monitor or the GPU. Finally, consider using a different CPU with an integrated GPU to see if the issue persists. It seems like the port on either the GPU or the motherboard might be faulty.
