The rest of the components are functioning properly, CPU (2600) and/or motherboard appear to be faulty. I'm searching for a suitable replacement to fit a Ryzen 7 2700x. What would be a solid choice that’s unlikely to fail and might benefit from overclocking if I try again? Any preferred brands come to mind? I’m looking for something affordable, around $200 to $250, and I’m feeling exhausted.
It was just a bit pricier than swapping in my 2600, and getting it on Monday instead of Tuesday matters a lot for me. I might not push it to its limits, or maybe I’ll dive into video editing or something else the CPU could handle. What’s your take on an x570?
there are also options like the 2700, which serves the same purpose, or you might consider the 3700x since high-end X570 boards begin under $200. The TUF and Aorus Elite are worth looking into if you can take advantage of additional features. Also explore the X470 flagships such as the Gaming 7 and M7.
