Hi, yes the Asus Prime B350-Plus motherboard should work with the AMD Ryzen 3700X. They are compatible, though you might notice some performance limits. The CPU may not run at its maximum clock speed due to thermal throttling or power delivery constraints. Temperature management will be important to avoid overheating. Let me know if you need more details!

It functions properly on stock systems, but you won’t achieve significant overclocking or PBO boosts. A BIOS update is also required before installing the new CPU.

The B350 supports a boost clock of up to 4.4GHz, so you can use it at that frequency.

It may help, though the VRMs on the motherboard could overheat rapidly and cause the CPU to slow down.

I can handle my 3600 at 4.4ghz 1.2v on an ASUS B350 TUF gaming rig without trouble. I'm not sure if the Prime is superior, but it won't limit you. My VRMs stay under 44c when PBO is maxed out with Prime95 small running.
