Hey, your situation sounds common in student flats without cable. The Asus PCE AC56 is decent, but the slow speeds you're experiencing are typical for older Wi-Fi cards. Since you're using a phone for a stable connection, it might be worth checking your router's settings or considering a better Wi-Fi adapter. If the issue persists, contacting Asus support could provide more tailored advice.

It slightly moved. Perhaps adjust the antenna orientations.

Numerous factors to consider: How far is the router from you? Is there interference present? Have you configured the drivers or software correctly?

It didn’t move at all, I’ve adjusted the antenna positions too, but I’m still confused. Perhaps a fresh Windows installation would help.

You might want to consider a fresh setup of Windows. Check for updates on all Wi-Fi connected devices.

Watched a YouTube tutorial on advanced options, improved speed slightly but remained only halfway on my phone's Wi-Fi, which surprised me. I managed to boost it by around 25 megabits.

Hmm, that's strange. I'm not sure how to respond. Perhaps a faulty Wi-Fi card is the issue.
