I want to increase my CPU's clock speed from 4.0 GHz to around 4.2 GHz. Since I don’t have XMP enabled but have an XMP switch above my memory, I should just adjust the ratio and keep the voltage at auto. Should I also tweak anything else?

It would be easier to adjust the voltages manually and determine stability, since the auto voltage is always higher than the feasible stable value.

You might set it automatically and increase the multiplier, but it's usually wiser to adjust the voltages yourself and determine stability, since the automatic setting tends to be higher than the feasible stable value.

Certainly, you're also able to boost the cache speed.
