I recently recovered some computers that were meant for disposal; one was turned into my daily driver, the other had its case removed and the old shell reused because it was worn out and dirty. This is the section where you need guidance, specifically about the motherboard. You mentioned it’s likely an ASUS A8N-SLI, but a label on the parallel port reads A8N-SLI-EAYZ. I’ve searched both sources and couldn’t find a perfect match. I’m unsure if this model supports a decent MB drive—should I keep it for a build or sell it, or just discard it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It’s a great piece of furniture. On US eBay it’s selling for around $70 to $80. If it doesn’t fit your needs, consider selling it—someone else might appreciate it.

Great! You're all set. It seems like it already includes the CPU and cooler, so you can skip any extra steps.

This board looks really great. Also, I didn’t realize ASUS handled the RAM stick video card setup. Best of luck with the installation!
