ASUS laptop drivers won't fit for you
I bought a new Asus Laptop called R1502ZA and it has an i3-1220p processor. My goal was to put Windows 10 on it but the website said they only have drivers for Windows 11. So I went ahead and installed Windows 11, then my hard drive (SSD) disappeared from the installation screen. To fix that, I turned off VMD in the BIOS so I could see storage again, which started the process. After finishing Windows 10 setup, I downloaded drivers from Asus and put them on a USB stick, but they still wouldn't work when plugged into my laptop. It is hard to use my touchpad or connect to the internet. Even though the computer works fine right now, after restarting it says those drivers are gone in Device Manager. Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks!
Do you notice those programs that come from a USB stick when you open them up?
Here you have the driver files. You can click this link to see them: https://ibb.co/jhN1Hpv
I get the install, everything looks okay on the screen, and after I restart my PC, the drivers don't show up. You can see where it goes here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nWKzBJZ...elleRidley
When you press the button on the executable file, a special window pops up asking where you want the program put. What address does this box show for where it wants to save things?
That's what happens. It doesn't open up the place where it should put itself. In the video we looked at, there was supposed to be a way to go somewhere, but in my case, it just goes straight to restart instead of opening that spot. I'm having trouble finding the right path here.
