A single inquiry about this setup. The manual states that the board supports connecting an M.2 NVMe drive without blocking any SATA ports, which makes sense since it has six available. However, it seems unusual because many boards with six SATA slots and one M.2 disable two of them when the M.2 is in use. The concern is whether something is being missed or if ASUS might be restricting other features in this configuration. Someone could clarify or confirm if there’s a hidden limitation.

The m.2 can function as both PCIe and SATA, linking to a SATA 6Gb/s port. When you install the m.2, ensure the connected SATA is indeed SATA 6Gb/s.
