If i remove asus gpu tweak i will lose my clock!? Correct?
Reason i ask is because everytime i boot up, on windows 10 i get a notification saying asus gpu tweak is running. As it does in the backgraound.
However when i go into notification settings and turn gpu tweak notifications to off. It does not remember this setting and everytime i boot up i get an annoying notification...
Therefore i think i shall remove the app.
Am i right in thinking if i dont have gpu tweak running? My OC wont be running?

This is the program that adjusts the clock speed to your chosen level each time you start your PC.
If you prefer not to receive the alert, you can configure Tweak not to launch on boot, and when you wish to enable overclocking, you can manually initiate it.
To do this, open 'msconfig' in the taskbar, then under 'start-up', remove the program from the list.

That would be accurate, as this program adjusts the clock speed to your chosen setting each time you start your PC.

I’ve considered doing this myself; it might extend the lifespan of my card, though it’s a bit frustrating to keep loading it!?

Do you know why the notifications aren't being saved?

It might be a Windows 10 issue—Microsoft is still working on resolving many of these problems, so such issues will take some time to fix. Another option is to try different GPU OC/monitor programs like MSI Aftrburner or EVGA Precision, regardless of the graphics card manufacturer.
