ASUS Flashback refuses to follow its plan.
When attempting to repair my BIOS, the "BIOS" option that should take about three minutes suddenly closes after just five seconds. I’m confident I’m following the steps correctly, but why isn’t it functioning?
I attempted various methods to resolve the issue, including additional steps beyond simply pressing the button.
I understand the issue you're facing. The 4GB USB drive formatted as FAT32 with a cap file isn't working properly.
Ensure your USB drive is formatted as FAT32 using available online guides. On the USB, verify the BIOS settings and rename the bios file properly—use the provided renamer tool from a reputable Asus source or follow the manual instructions. Insert the drive into the USB port and press the designated button until it displays three flashes.
I really don’t recall the steps I took to resolve this problem, but I had it on my board before. It involved the cab file and the USB stick size. An older model seemed to work better than a new one, even though it was tougher.
