I'm working on updating my bios. I downloaded the newest .rom file and saved it on the desktop. It appears in Ez Flash but when I pick the file it says "no update module is found." I've tried using a USB stick, but that didn't work either. I've also reformatted it to fat, fat32, and NTFS, yet it still isn't recognized by Ez Flash. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This model is an older version of the ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 with AM3R2 socket and FX 6300 processor. It has 1050TI and 8GB RAM BIOS, but some details are no longer current.

Connecting to a PC via USB ports on its backside is a common setup. (I/O)

I've checked both sides, but it doesn't really matter much.

Don't have an idea? Convert to NTFS and reinsert the file. Don't forget to extract the contents if it's compressed.
