Hello everyone, I’m experiencing an unusual problem with my Crosshair VIII Wi-Fi. It randomly crashes under certain conditions—sometimes when idle, other times during intense gaming—and the Q-code shows 00. All fans run at full speed. The whole system freezes, the screen turns black, and pressing the power button or resetting doesn’t help. This happened after I adjusted the PBO2 settings to optimize performance; it became more stable but still crashes occasionally. I increased the Infinity Fabric speed to 2GHz, wondering if that’s the cause. It might also relate to the BIOS version I’m using. I recall the PBO2 curve was fine before upgrading to BIOS 3904 (current version 4006 includes a beta of AMD Agesa). My hardware specs are: Ryzen 9 5900X, Infinity Fabric at 2000MHz, two 16GB Crucial Ballistix Max 4000MHz cards, Asus Crosshair VIII Hero Wi-Fi (BIOS 3904, latest 4006 not updated), EVGA GeForce RTX 3080Ti, FTW3 Seasonic Prime TX-1000, 1000W PSU, Creative SoundBlaster ZxR, Samsung 980PRO, and 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus. Thanks for your assistance!

Agesa 1206 isn't a beta version, and it performs significantly better than 1205, 1204, and 1203. It offers stability upgrades, RAM enhancements, and SSD improvements. One of the top releases from AGESA. Zen 3 continues to excel in Infinity Fabric around 1800, and achieving RAM support at 4000 is quite challenging. You're overloading your CPU for no real performance boost.

I own the same motherboard and power supply. The problem began after updating my BIOS. I’m not overclocking the CPU, but I’m using DOCP for my RAM. It seems I might need to revert to a stable BIOS, as this is not acceptable. I’ve also lost control of lighting for my RAM, which used to work properly.
