I began the procedure to update the BIOS on this motherboard, but it became stuck on the screen for roughly two hours. I mostly used the instructions from the website: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1038568. The only parts I missed or wasn’t sure about were 1) ensuring the flash drive is formatted as fat 32, and 2) not pressing the BIOS flashback button and doing it manually instead. Currently, the motherboard’s BIOS code is as it is. What should I do next? Updated July 20, 2020 by sharknado34

Are there additional details about the hardware? Can it support an integrated GPU for BIOS use?

Still stuck after two hours? Power down the rig, reset CMOS, enter BIOS and attempt a flash again. If it remains unresponsive for more than two or three minutes, the drive isn't being read.

Start working now. I'll provide updates once ready.

I powered it off and restarted the process from the beginning. All steps were completed correctly the first time. The only adjustment I made the second time was activating the bios flashback feature instead of using it within BIOS. It functioned properly. Surprising, but glad it worked.
