Hello everyone, my computer appears to be shutting down after the PSU replacement. It initially shows error code CC, then 55, and the DRAM light stays lit (orange). The screen is unresponsive—either blank or black—and I don’t see any signal. My system runs Asus Maximus Formula VIII I7 6700K with 16 GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4. It was fine for gaming a few years ago, but now I’m just browsing and using Adobe apps. The PSU had a slight whine, so I swapped it out for a Corsair HX750. Despite these changes, the computer won’t start posting. I haven’t altered anything else except the PSU, GPU, and the radiator from the AIO cooler to access the CPU connector. I’ve tried everything I could find online—reinserting RAM, changing slots, removing the GPU, using an iGPU, swapping out components, clearing CMOS, resetting BIOS, and even replacing the CMOS battery—but nothing works. Anyone have any ideas?

Both power supplies are designed to be modular. Confirm you didn’t mix XFX cables with the Corsair unit? If yes, your PC might have been damaged.

That's a smart lesson learned! I'll avoid making that error next time.

The issue was resolved by adjusting and securing the four screws on the CPU cooler, allowing it to start immediately.
