The question asks whether Asus will develop a Workstation Board for LGA 1700 or if the Asus ProArt is intended to take its place.

The ProArt is meant to be their next workstation series, but I wouldn't be surprised if they stick to a different WS board like they did on X99 and Z97. I doubt it would make sense to buy another one just because a workstation doesn't have a POST code—unless you really need ASUS BIOS or something unique that isn't available elsewhere. In that case, it might be better to choose a board from another manufacturer.
