I'm looking for guidance on choosing a new motherboard for my 3700x processor. I've considered ASUS TUF B550-PLUS, TUF x570-PLUS, and ROG STRIX X570-F, especially with a 1660 graphics card and a 500GB M.2 SSD. Most sources suggest the Tomahawk is a strong option, but since I can only choose from ASUS models, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The core issue is clear—do you require PCI-E Gen 4?

The b550-plus offers the lowest price, next comes the Tuf x570-plus, and then the rog strix.

Only ASUS because of their reliable products and strong brand reputation.

The PC is being built by a company, with ASUS as the sole choice besides a few Gigabyte motherboards (B450 Aorus Elite and x570 gaming).

The B550 Tuf plus works well without the Gen 4 lanes, though many have mentioned alternatives. Are you restricted only to Asus boards?

I decided to choose the B550 myself, even though some might argue otherwise. The active cooling in the x570 isn’t a reliable feature and it’s cheaper overall. It’s a clear win.

Perhaps for those familiar with the situation, the previous attempt resulted in damaging the motherboard when I forced the RAM slot too much.

There is a count of items, their prices are listed, and the system is used for powering devices.
