I figured it could because both kits share the identical model number. Sure, I can start up with fresh shafts. It even works with a mix of one new and one old. But not when all four are present. The system functions independently. And combining just one new and one old also gets it running.
Reset the CMOS. Test using three sticks. Usually start with one stick at a time.
I placed my old RAM sticks in A2 and B2. Tested a new module in both A1 and B1, but nothing happened. The LED next to the modules stayed orange, showing a RAM problem. After swapping them, I cleared the CMOS memory. When it booted with the original two sticks, the clear CMOS helped.
