It occurred during a game session when I closed the program. There seems to be an additional boost available—4+4 eps is connected. The power supply unit is around 650 watts, which isn’t too bad.

You own the equipment, but if it breaks the board, you’ll have to learn the lesson the other way. It’s surprising Mick would support keeping that PSU running. If the board gets damaged because of the PSU, just pass the blame to him.

I faced the same situation. Received the notification several times in a short time. Added extra power supply and everything has worked well for months. I wouldn’t purchase a PSU unless there’s a real issue. Still, some lessons must be understood through experience.

Just wish I could see that alert before the PSU fails completely. At least everyone else is noticing!

PCI power, yes? Both EPS connectors are connected through a 2x4 pin onto the board.

I was correct. The extra Molex connector labeled E-Z plug is meant for connecting an additional graphics card (consult the manual).
