ASUS 980 Ti Matrix Voltage Information
I've been attempting to overclock my new 980 Ti Matrix Platinum, but the voltage stays stuck at 1.2120 in afterburner or GPU-Z despite all changes. The voltage adjustment in AB only increases in steps of 12, even when I try +40, it jumps to +50 and still doesn't work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled AB and updated drivers multiple times, but nothing seems to help. It's a tight fit, so I'm hesitant to reseat the card. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Asus offers a line of cards (such as the Matrix) that require the Voltage to be unlocked via Asus's utility. It's unclear if this specific model includes the capability, though many do. You'll need to apply Asus GPU Tweak to access the feature; an example is shown on the 280x Matrix.
Not sure about Maxwell but I understand Nvidia's voltage lock on Kepler cards; it seems likely your card is too. Wouldn't you mind if someone shared a link to a custom 980 Ti matrix BIOS?

Asus offers a set of cards (such as the Matrix) where Voltage must be unlocked via Asus's utility. It's unclear if this card includes the feature, but many do. You'll need to use Asus GPU Tweak; the feature is available when you find it in the latest version of GPU Tweak II. For example, on the 280x Matrix, I checked the current settings and only found memory and PEX_VDD options. The PEX voltage doesn't seem to cover the core, as it maxes out at 1100, and I'm not sure what that does without further knowledge.
