I swapped out the hard drive in my old Sony Vaio and now I'm trying to reinstall Windows XP. Do you need the ISO file on a USB stick since my computer won't boot from a DVD?

The program "WintoFlash" appears to be available for a limited time at a low cost, around $20. It's worth considering your investment of time and money.

I believe the Windows version he provided will function. I attempted WintoFlash, but it didn't work and kept producing errors.

I assume you have an ISO file available. The Windows USB installer is tailored for Windows 7, so consider using Rufus if the Windows USB tool doesn't work. Let me know how it goes, I'm curious too.
