Initially: I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64bit Version 1703. I attempted to remove some leftover files from a Steam game folder, but first I needed admin privileges. After clicking the rights button, I received an error saying "Folder Access Denied." The message indicated I needed my own user permissions. Once I took over the folder without issues, I still couldn't delete it. I tried using the Windows DVD Manager command prompt to delete the folder, and it worked without errors. When I restarted Windows, the folder remained. If you have any advice or more details, please let me know.

I'm experiencing a comparable problem with another folder on my drive, which makes me question if it's a virus.

Can you take a print screen? Try: Open up Powershell as Admin Run the command Remove-Item e.g. Remove-item C:\Users\UserName\Documents\myfolder -force
