You took out the SATA connection from the HDD and saw the same display. Then you swapped it—removing the SSD SATA and keeping the HDD SATA—and it now shows Getting Devices Ready.

There isn't a bootable Windows installation available for the SSD. That's not ideal. I'd reinstall Windows after taking the HDD out of the system to avoid any issues.

I disconnect the HDD and it displays a prompt to insert the boot drive, whereas the SSD boots normally when unplugged. Now I plan to reinstall Windows on the SSD without using the HDD.

The media tool handles the process automatically, so you don’t need to remove the Windows from the SSD yourself.
