Assistance with Windows 10 available. Let me know what you need help with!
I successfully assembled my PC and everything went smoothly so far, despite spending a long morning and late night on it. I installed Windows 10 using a USB drive. However, the system appears different and odd—it’s my first time setting up an operating system. I’m having trouble connecting to WiFi; when I try to browse available networks, it keeps showing up instead of letting me connect. Recently, I’ve been active online sharing posts and discussions, but building the PC alone was really stressful.
You lack the necessary wifi drivers and/or your new PC is missing a built-in wifi adapter. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the back of the computer to enable internet access. If you have a Wi-Fi card or adapter, Windows Update will automatically install the required drivers. However, based on your previous details about specifications, it seems your motherboard doesn’t include a wifi adapter, so without a separate card or USB adapter, you won’t have any internet connectivity.
It seems like a theme is applied, but you can modify it via settings. Simply enter "themes" to see available choices. Make sure to check for updates, install all drivers, and restart your PC for the best performance.
Make sure display drivers are installed or switch themes. Check for internet updates now that you're online. Regarding your connection, using an ethernet cable means you're not on wifi—it's called "wifi" for convenience. If you're connected via Ethernet to your modem/router, that's fine. You don't need a wifi adapter unless it meets performance standards. Aim for at least 300Mbps or higher, or 1200Mbps if possible.
The screen lacks built-in speakers, so you’ll need to purchase speakers or opt for headphones to hear the output.
Your motherboard includes built-in audio, allowing you to connect speakers or headphones via the green connector at the bottom of the IO panel. Ensure you update the Audio output in Windows from HDMI to Speaker if no sound appears after connecting your devices.
