She reached out to support who suggested buying a digital license and having another person download the game from Origin onto a USB drive, then handing that drive to her for transfer. I’ve transferred similar files before with titles like World of Tanks, World of Warships, and Crysis. However, some titles such as Warframe or Battlefield generate PC-specific files in hidden folders. I’m trying to figure out if Mass Effect Andromeda works this way—can files be moved from one PC to another via USB? I’d appreciate any advice from someone who’s done this before.

Copy the game directory. For example, C:/Program Files/Origin Games

Yes, copying only the essential game folders should suffice. You won’t need to worry about additional files.

Origin will fetch files that are absent. Smaller ones will be downloaded without problems. The larger ones, such as patches, are stored in the main folder. The remaining items include profiles and save files.
