Hello, I've encountered some issues with my Bmax Y11 laptop. It struggles to boot from the power button, requiring several presses before it starts. The startup light sometimes blinks as if the device is just turned on and off. When it enters standby mode, I can't wake it up using the keyboard, so I have to force shut it down with the power button. I've tried various fixes for this last problem, including a factory reset, but nothing resolved it. I suspect a BIOS issue, though I'm not sure. Regarding a BIOS update, my laptop uses an AMI firmware and has an Intel motherboard model (see screenshot). I've downloaded the AMI firmware tool from the official site, but I'm unsure what to do next. I don't have any files available for the update program. If you have another method besides updating the BIOS, please share it. I understand the risks of changing the BIOS and would prefer a simpler solution.

It might not be the BIOS itself, but the correct file can be found on the laptop maker’s site: https://www.bmaxit.com/en/Download/Laptops/

Appreciate the update—looks like it was built specifically for Windows 10, so I’ll attempt the direct installation and check for any differences.

I attempted to apply their Windows installation, but no changes occurred and issues persisted.

I'm curious about whether the button is malfunctioning or not.

I'm not sure, but it seems to depend on what you're experiencing. Generally, the system functions properly when powered on, but issues arise when it's turned off.
