Hey there! I just set up my new system and am a bit confused about getting the 3200Mhz out of my RAM. Since I'm totally new to overclocking, I thought maybe you could guide me through it together. If anyone asks why I need such a large 64Gb RAM, it's mainly because I use my PC for GIS tasks like remote sensing, R, Python, QGIS, and handling big satellite images – they really take up a lot of memory. Right now, when I load the XMP profile, the screen stays black and I have to reset it manually. I was able to run smoothly at 2666Mhz, but my current setup is struggling. My specs are: CPU – AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, RAM – 4x Ripjaws V F4-3200C16D-32GVK (two 16GB sticks), GPU – Radeon RX 580 8GB, cooler – Noctua NH-D15, power supply – 750W quiet. Thanks a bunch!
activate XMP protocol and adjust DRAM voltage manually to 1.35 while setting SOC voltage to 1.1
Failed attempt. I saved the XMP profile, adjusted the DRAM voltage to 1.35 (originally 1.350 from XMP) and set the PREM VDDCR_SOC Voltage to 1.1 (previously automatic). After a 2-3 minute black screen with no boot loop, I manually reset it.
You currently have a four-stick kit, but the 2x16GB model hasn't arrived yet.

Yes, you can attempt to set your RAM in the BIOS using that configuration.
