Which configuration works best? I’m looking for one capable of 4K resolution. PCPartPicker lists several options. The Ryzen 7 3700X at 3.6 GHz offers strong performance and should handle 4K well. Other choices include the Ryzen 5 3600X and various motherboards, but the 3700X stands out for its specs.

Yes, 4K gaming fits within a $800–$1000 budget with a medium to high setting. If 4K isn’t feasible, aim for at least 2560x1440 at 60 fps.

3600 paired with a 5700 XT should take about 900 to 1000 minutes. Or hold off for a 3070.
